There is a new web site for giving. The WEB site is in beta mode. There is a prompt for zip code at the top of the form – ignore it. There is a prompt in the Explore menu for zip – use that one. It works.
This would be a neat site if only they would get organizations accepting donated goods to sign up. The only thing that worked for me is the animal shelters. I don’t have animals, but I have plenty of other stuff that I have to get rid of.
I am going to keep an eye on this site because you never know when the local organizations will join and be part of the effort. I think I will encourage our local organizations to join. Why don’t you do the same.
